Spinal Cord Stimulation -or Neurostimulation- is a method of pain control frequently used to treat back pain, and pain in the arms and legs. Similar in function and appearance to cardiac pacemakers, neurostimulators deliver mild electrical pulses to the spinal cord, interrupting or masking the pain signals’ transmission to the brain. Dr. Skaribas is an expert in spinal cord stimulation and the device placement.
